Know what you're getting

Our condition grading system

Used doesn't mean uncertain. Here is exactly how we inspect, grade and photograph every part.

Condition grades

What Grade A, B and C mean

Every used part is inspected and graded before it is listed. The grade appears on every product card and product page, so you always know what you're getting before you order.

A
Grade A — Excellent

Fully functional, tested, minimal or no cosmetic wear. Looks and performs like a lightly used original.

B
Grade B — Good

Fully functional with visible cosmetic wear such as scuffs or light scratches. Every blemish is photographed and circled.

C
Grade C — Fair

Works as intended but has noticeable cosmetic damage. Priced accordingly and clearly disclosed.

How we grade

Four steps before a part is listed

Pulled from a known donor

We record the donor vehicle's year, make, model, VIN and mileage, so you can see where the part came from.

Tested & inspected

Mechanical parts are checked for function; electronics are bench-tested where possible. Anything that fails is scrapped, not sold.

Photographed, flaws circled

We photograph the actual part you'll receive and circle every scuff, crack or mark in yellow. No stock photos.

Graded A, B or C

The final grade reflects cosmetic condition only. Every grade is fully functional and carries the same 60-day warranty.

Reading our listings

How to read a PartNpart listing

You get the part in the photos

Each listing shows the exact unit that ships. If you see a scratch in the picture, that is the scratch on your part — nothing more.

Yellow circles = disclosed damage

Circles highlight cosmetic issues we found. They are never hidden in a dark corner of the image.

Grade never affects coverage

A, B and C all carry the same 60-day warranty and 30-day money-back guarantee.

Questions?

Condition grade FAQ

Is a Grade C part safe to use?

Yes. Grades describe cosmetic condition only. A Grade C part works as intended; it simply has visible marks, which are photographed and priced in.

Why is the same part sometimes listed at different grades and prices?

Each unit comes from a different donor vehicle and is graded individually. A cleaner unit earns a higher grade and a higher price; you choose the balance that suits you.

Do you grade electronics like modules and ECUs?

Yes. Electronics are graded on housing condition and tested where possible. They must be installed by a qualified technician after diagnosing the original fault for the warranty to apply.

What if the part arrives in worse condition than its grade?

Contact us within 30 days with photos. We'll make it right with a replacement or a full refund of the part price.
